VerificadoPelagic Paradise works out of the Le Morne Anglers Club in Grande Riviere Noire, where the sea floor drops away only a few miles offshore and the deep water is reachable within minutes of leaving the mooring. Captain Amaury de Coriolis runs two boats, the sport fisher Fleur de Sel and the open speedboat Oceanyka, and takes small groups out for blue marlin and tuna, for giant trevally on poppers and jigs around Ilot Benitier, and for dolphins and humpback whales along the west coast. Every trip books the whole boat for one group, and the crew supply the tackle.
