What you'll do
Book a seat on MHL's dedicated helicopter circuit from Bel Ombre to the underwater waterfall illusion off Le Morne. The flight is shared with other guests and each helicopter carries up to six passengers, so you pay for your seat rather than the whole aircraft. A departure needs at least four seats booked in total to operate. If that number is not reached, you are told on the morning of the flight and receive a full refund or a reschedule to the following day. From the air, pale trails of sand and silt against the deeper blue water create the appearance of a cascade beneath the sea. The published route follows Baie du Cap, La Prairie and Îlot Fourneau before returning to Bel Ombre.

Take off from Bel Ombre
Meet at Bel Ombre Heliport and board with the other guests once MHL has confirmed the aircraft, conditions and passenger weights.

Follow the coast
Fly from Bel Ombre towards Baie du Cap and La Prairie, with the coastline and lagoon opening below the helicopter.

Pass Îlot Fourneau
Continue towards the small islet beside the Le Morne peninsula before the approach to the main viewpoint.
