Inside the reef the water stays flat, which makes this the easier of the two fishing trips and the one that suits families and first timers. The skipper trolls a line behind the Custom Pelican Fishing Boat between marks and then stops where the fish are holding so everyone can cast. There may also be time to get in the water over the wreck of Le Dalbair before the boat turns back. Standard four-hour sessions leave Pointe d'Esny at 07:00 and 13:00. A custom two-hour sunset session from 17:00 to 19:00 is available on request, with its price confirmed separately.

Where the fish are holding, everyone gets a rod and the skipper shows beginners how to work it.

Masks come out for a snorkel over the reef and the old wreck of Le Dalbair.

What comes aboard can be kept or put back, whichever the group prefers.
Back to the beach
The boat returns to Pointe d'Esny at the end of the booked time.

已验证Salty Vibes was started in 2024 by Lucka, who runs it with his younger brothers and their parents from the south east coast. All trips depart from Pointe d'Esny Beach. The fleet comprises the Northern Boatworks Explorer 195, a Resicraft Speedboat and a Custom Pelican Fishing Boat. The programme covers full island days on the Grand Port lagoon, shorter snorkelling sessions built around the reef, and fishing inside the lagoon or offshore. Skippers speak English, French and Mauritian Creole.
