What happens during the two-hour visit

The submarine experience from Trou aux Biches starts with the briefing and a shuttle boat transfer to the submarine base. After boarding, you remain seated in an air-conditioned cabin with individual windows. The published itinerary descends to around 35 metres and includes the area around the Star Hope wreck. Planning a family visit

The published minimum age is nine months. The toddler band runs from nine months through three years and the child band from four through eleven. Include each child’s age in your booking rather than assuming that all young children travel free. Guests remain inside the cabin during the dive, so this is a different experience from swimming or snorkelling. However, boat transfers and boarding still form part of the outing. The catalogue lists eight sessions between 08.30 and 15.30 daily. A published timetable is not a promise of available seats for every date; select the session actually offered for your party.
