A private five-islands excursion and a catamaran day to Île aux Cerfs differ in more than the boat. Departure points, booking arrangements and meals also change. Andeor offers these experiences through its partners. Start by choosing between a vessel reserved for your group and a catamaran programme, then compare the complete budget.

A private day from Pointe d’Esny

The private five-islands trip leaves Pointe d’Esny beach around 09:30 and returns around 16:00. The programme combines the Grand River South East waterfall area, snorkelling and stops around the islets. The published price of Rs 20,000 covers two people. Each additional participant costs Rs 2,400, up to ten people in total. These amounts were checked on 26 October 2026 and must be confirmed when booking. You reserve the entire boat.

Two different catamaran departure points

The catamaran from Mahébourg leaves Pointe des Régates for a 09:30 to 16:30 day towards Grand River South East and Île aux Cerfs, with lunch on board. The Trou d’Eau Douce departure requires arrival at 08:45 for departure at 09:00 and return around 16:00. This second offer states a minimum age of eight and a barbecue or Indian-style lunch on Île aux Margenie. The conditions of one departure do not automatically apply to the other.

Compare meals and additional charges

The private trip includes snorkelling equipment, snacks, a barbecue and the listed drinks. Lobster and king prawns are available at an extra charge. The Mahébourg catamaran includes the barbecue, water, soft drinks and selected alcoholic drinks for adults; a vegetarian menu must be requested in advance. The Trou d’Eau Douce programme also includes lunch and drinks. All three offers exclude ground transport from your hotel. Add that journey before comparing the total for your family.

Choose without fixing every stop

The five-islands name does not guarantee five identical landings every day. The captain adapts the stops to sea conditions and may change their order. Tell Andeor the travellers’ ages, dietary requirements and accommodation to organise the outing. If your main question concerns the boarding point, our guide to catamaran departures for Île aux Cerfs complements this comparison. Here, the first decision is between a private motorboat and your chosen catamaran programme.

Andeor can arrange a separate transfer through Seke, according to the confirmed location and time.
