The microlight flight from Mon Loisir leaves a private grass airstrip near Rivière du Rempart. The seaplane flight from Grand Gaube starts at the coastal seabase beside the hotel. Hotel transfers are excluded from both packages. The water take-off is part of the seaplane experience; it does not mean every route continues to the south of Mauritius. Match the departure to your accommodation and the scenery you actually want to see.
Compare routes rather than just minutes
The microlight programme offers four options lasting 20 to 60 minutes. The shorter route covers the Roches Noires lagoon and Île d’Ambre; longer routes extend around the north coast, with the hour-long programme returning over Pamplemousses. Understand the time and seating arrangement
Published flight time runs from engine start to engine stop. It includes taxiing, take-off and landing, rather than measuring only time at cruising altitude. Each aircraft carries one pilot and one passenger. Couples can request two aircraft flying at the same time, subject to confirmation. The seaplane listing describes two successive rounds for groups of three or four. If you are planning a shared celebration, the timing between participants matters as much as the length printed beside each option.
Confirm the details that affect your booking
Both packages include the pilot, private aircraft and safety briefing. The published passenger age range is seven to 99 years, with a maximum weight of 105 kg. Give accurate details for each traveller before confirmation. Flights depend on weather and air traffic control, so keep some flexibility in your holiday schedule.
