If a listing names my hotel area, is pickup included?

No. Look for an explicit transfer inclusion and a confirmed pickup address and time. A nearby location alone does not establish collection.

A destination name is not a pickup instruction. An experience may take place near Le Morne but depart from Black River, or explore northern islands from Grand Baie or Grand Gaube. Use the exact meeting point on your confirmation.

Separate the three times

Hotel pickup, activity check-in and departure are different events. The Grand Gaube mangrove cruise, for example, lists check-in at 09:45 for a 10:00 departure. Its hotel transfers are excluded. Arriving at the village at departure time is not the same as checking in at the named jetty.

Use the right address and entrance

Save the written meeting instructions as well as the map. The Sebastopol cacao listing currently identifies an area and requires the precise entrance to be confirmed. Do not drive towards an approximate pin and expect to find the host automatically. If you are self-driving, account for parking and the walk to the meeting place.
